WHAT’S NEW YT NEWS
Tim Hill through the ages
Tim Hill says: Lots of ex-members sent in their memories to commemorate the 50th anniversay of the first ever YT meeting. Thank you. You can read them in this new section. Please keep your recollections coming in: we can always add more. We have also received many updates of what many ex-members are up to these days and these will appear in the news section as soon as we can. I'm trying to sell my house at the moment so normal service has been and will be interrupted!

50TH ANNIVERSARY GALA DINNER

March 1st 2014

For 50 years Ian R. Wallace's vision of a theatre group run by young people and for young people has not only provided some of the best theatre performances in both North Harrow and Beaconsfield but also been a fundamental part of the career paths of hundreds of its members both in the entertainment industry and elsewhere.

The Young Theatre is proud to mark his achievement by celebrating 50 years of this extraordinary group. On March 1st 2014 we are hosting a fundraising gala dinner and take this opportunity to invite you to join Ian and the Executive Committee.

The evening will include a three course meal, a fully licensed bar and will showcase the next generation of young members in their production of Pronoun for the National Theatre Connections programme alongside other entertainment. The group continues to go from strength to strength and whilst financially more stable, we need to replace our lighting equipment to see us into the next half century. The evening, therefore, gives us the opportunity not only to celebrate and, with your attendance catch up with old friends, but also to support the Capital Fund project. The cost of the evening is £30 which includes dinner and a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to toast our founder and all those who have supported his vision (and continue to do so).

If you have any questions regarding the evening please e-mail Tom McGrath tickets can be booked from Ticketsource.
