THE BURNHAM TROPHY 2021
In this often biennial competition, The Young Theatre is usually sub-divided into teams; each tasked with devising, writing, producing, staging and performing an original one-act play based on a given theme.
In 2021 — thanks to the novel coronavirus pandemic — this competition had to be for something members could produce from home and apparently, we have a number of budding film makers in the group. Members were challenged to create a mockumentary. The adjudicator was Mark Oldknow; the result and the teams are listed on their own pages here.
