The Social Evening

Sun 13 Mar 2011, 7.30pm

The Curzon Centre, Beaconsfield

An informal evening of fun including two short plays:

Domby-Dom by Nick Warburton is a short play about a group of children who put on a play. They decide it must be about football, be set in space and be adventurous. So begins the production of Indiana Smith and the Cup Final of Doom or The Return of the Tedi in which Tedi and Jemima battle against Timmi and Popkins who are intent on destroying the Inter-Galaxy Cup Final at Wembley.

The Musicians by Patrick Marber - in just over two hours time the UK's Ridley Road School Orchestra will give the most important concert of their life, playing a Purcell chamber piece to an invited audience of cultural bigwigs. There's just one problem — they have no instruments.
